With the falling temperature at
this speed, one cannot deny the food and latest winter clothing it brings along
but that doesn’t seem to be with Syrians. Refugees in their own state, Syrians
are going through a tough time. Mass shortage of clothes, shelter, food and
medical supplies. While we pray that winter lasts so that the desert heat doesn’t
hit early, Syrians want this winter to leave.
Snow falls in areas have worsened
the situation. Madaya, outside Damascus being the worst hit. People are
surviving on cats, dogs and leaves but then, even they are scarce now!

Located 25 km away from Damascus,
reports say that this is one of the areas which is hit badly with severe
malnutrition.
Nearly 40, 000 people have little
or no access to food and medical supplies.
Reports from UK monitoring group says
that 300 children are suffering malnutrition.
The opposition Syrian National
Coalition warned of a "humanitarian catastrophe" in Madaya.
The nearby town of Zabadani is also under siege,
despite a deal last month that saw Sunni rebel fighters given free passage out
of the town in exchange for the evacuation of Shia families from the northern
towns of Kefraya and Fua.
